Church last Sunday was great... well.. though i spent almost 5 hours at church and having to wake up early too. Wondering what i spent so long there?
ha.. well.. spent the first half day joining RAYs... also the young adults of church.
Feels wierd to be called young adults.. mm...
Looking at RAYS i kind of miss YF at Jurong Calvary BP church..
because the fellowship there had always been true and close to heart.
I really miss the camps. =D
Although, its really still wierd to be in a "foreign" church fitting in.
Thank God for Yah Ting =)
Anyway the "senior christians" in RaYs were really friendly too though..
yups.. and i got myself a CG anyway.
After the game and interaction session.. we had a more impt agenda on hand.

Just about a week ago, the sermon was on taking the lead.. stepping up..
somehow Yah Ting and i saw a post on the church bulletin that says sunbeam ministry need helpers..
Yah Ting asked me and i agreed in a flash.. somehow this just feels like a calling..
the calling to serve in a ministry..
i Thank God for Yah Ting... spiritually she's at the same level as me...
Its hard to explain how spritually same we are.. but i know..
both of us looking to be involved, serve the Lord, Grow spiritually (though we're v. lost)...
somehow to have Yah Ting to be able to grow together with..
i know for sure.. this random meeting had been in His plans.. because you're like God sent!
so, this wk we were supposed to observe the 12 o clock sunbeam service..
gee.. sunbeam ministry is the kids ministry the ones kids go to when adults go to service!
gosh..... i just feel their innocence...
Service started with sing a long sessions too..
"How Great is Our God" ...... heard this song in adult's service once, but hearing the CHilDREN sing melts your heart... as it melted mine.. =D
seeing them pray furthur sparks you... because... there was once a pastor said..
children dare to ask from God.. somehow we lose this along the way..
their prayer may go, "God may i have more sweets." or
" God my brother is so irritating that cn you just make him disappear"
It's not that demanding from God is right..
but they dare to pray for issues that we would keep to ourselves..
things that as we grow older, we no longer communicate with God..
gee.. its a cuter sight seeing them squish their 2 hands together.

LOl.. not bad. Today is reunion dinner day at my ah ma house.
sadly its a working day toO!
I've been rotting at work.. therefore, at the chance to escape to do tentage att 3p.m.,
i escaped with my boss and sup to Jurong point and Jurong East.
LOL cos tentage can slackkkkk!!!!
BUT!!!!
now i know hoW bo liao grown up can be..
from the journey in the cab.. my boss and sup was playing.....

bluetooth tennis..... yes.. even the cab uncle shooting us wierd stares.
!!!! the worst part was at tentage when we got so bored with little customers.
i cant believe i did this too.. but cos my sup couldnt win my boss in the bluetooth tennis game.... he asked ME to play against boss to HELP him to win..
gosh.... suddenly those tentage boi bois (aka my age but i think v. beng)
got so excited about the showdown between boss and i....
the bet was...... who lose..... WHO drinks 1.5litre of sprite zero....
1.5 LITRES and GOODNESS>>>> SPRITE ZERO!!!!!

HapPY VaLenTine Day

Hey hey! =D had a pretty fun valentine day. =D of course it started the day before with the hustle and bustle of preparing the presents. Oh well.. something i dont understand is that singles seem to wallow in the sorrow of the festive. It really makes me wonder why.. To me.. Valentine Day is definitely not just a day of celebrating with your lover (Though it mostly is) but its also time for u to spread the love.. to friends family.. everyone around you. Thats my spirit of valentine day.. spread the love =D oh wells... today supervisor's wife was damn sweet, sent a heart-shaped cake that says "happy valentine dear" whoo.. very nice =D anyway we All got to eat the cake anyway.. Yup.. spent 19 of my years of valentine with love too.. despite not spending it with just a guy.. i'm a true believer that its nothing to wallow about =D so, every year's Valentine is still filled with anticipation, joy, fun, love and friends! =D i'm proud to say.. every Valentine day was wonderful. Indeed ppl may argue that seeing couples around on V day seem to get more and more obvious as we grow older.. well.. on valentine day, i look around and all i see is loVe.. i'm submerged in love too =D *didnt u do GP essay.. many kind of love lorrrx* haha.. so, Now someone please argue with me why is V day a sad day?!?
Anyway, i went out too! Went to eat at Billy Bombers with a bunch of great palS~! =D yeah.. had a fun time crapping with them.. well, gave presents.. and after that went back home pretty late! yeah. enjoyed my V day!

Nxt morning obviously was late for work =( missed the bus lahh.. haha.. but obviously my nice boss didnt scold me.. still crap with me! yup. raHHHhh i'm going crazy doing excel sheets... "match/v look up/H lookup" blah blah.. bet u dont know what i'm talking. supposed to set some formulas in excel so that they're stuff will auto generate once maybe like Qty is key in.. whoo.. cannot stand it.. since Liyun the pregnant girl is back, my temp ends like on friday!! so she took over the calls and pOor celeste is slacking aka doing the "reforms" in the company. So so... haha.. feel bad for cheating aunties and uncles... boss actually extended my contract! buT didnt tell anyone yet, so those aunty uncle who think my last day fri gave me ang pows in advance and say that fri want to bring loTSA food.. *boss and sup instigated* when i actually ended my contact later!! haha..during team meeting they were still crapping that cos out of 5 ppl my total calls in last mth was 25% of the team total.. when hmm there are 5 people!! so, they claim they "no rice to eat liao" *laugh llaugh* buy bak kwa to eat lor.. ermmmmmm..... joke joke.
went to sell tentage drinks after work. haha.. quite fun la..so busy day. there's like 2 tentage boys there BUT they are sOOOOO horrible!!!!! so slack that in the end we do the labour job for them!!!! *Raah* SLACKER!!!!!! anyway, this random uncle came and buy drinks and it went this way...(in cl)

haha... working in Coca Cola has been a great and fulfilling and fattening few mths.
=) Today i've been sO busy...
I feel like i'm their their "auditor" or should i say go there and help them add new "ideas"
I spent my whole day .. NOT picking calls. Instead i was using excel sheets to redo their stock inventory report!! LOL. yes.. because aunties dont know how to do such things! My sup was telling me i could help them change their consumer/ service refund letter format too.. LOL..
i think working with my boss and supervisor is really funny. they're like the younger ppl in my office hence used to communicate thru mail when bo liaox.. haha.. my boss is totally lame!

auntie: Hey boss how's your daughter
boss: okay lor.. about this height (points at me)
celest: huh? How old is your daughter?
boss: *grin* few months old...

Today i was talking to a technician who was like asking for my name (trying hard to pronounce)
minutes after i hung up..

dang.. got the shirt today..
ahhh so put off by it... its BRIGHT RED! and a ke kou ke le in cl behind and a dragon..
ahhhhhhhhh.... my supervisor wore it and i laughed non-stop..
come to think of it i've to wear it too.. =X
haha.. u can see it at any tentages too!! its all over s'pore anyway..

Flashbacks...

Just visited Alvin at CHANGI hospital..
yah at SIMEI and after work...
reached home pretty late... and shack..
Alvin just had his op... removed the blood clot in his knee.
Indeed the op was considered a success with the clot removed..
but he said.. "something behind had triggered this injury to this state"
tests had to be conducted, he had to be warded another 3-5 days until the results are out..
i heard this a few years ago.. seem to be the exact few words..
cant help but triggered several flashbacks...

***that time...
It was a few days since he came to school. Everyone thought he was irritating and no one really called him up. after a few days we learned he fell.. and had an injury... and a blood clot/ swelling leg. Not much ppl bothered to ask him about it. Came to school for a few days.. i had to collect an exercise book from him, he purposefully sticking his face one cM from me and whispered Celestine(an act that pisses ppl off)."Get away from me" i shouted at him.. I remembered i got so pissed that i ignored him.. the nxt day.. he didnt come to school.. apparantly his injury had swelled badly.. there had been a blood clot that had to be removed.. The op was a success. the clot was removed.. but.. the doctor said.. there was something behind that had triggered it. More tests had to be conducted...The swelling still didnt stop.. the blood didnt stop cloting.. the test results came out... bone cancer.. The blood clot travelled up the blood stream... to the lungs.. another op.. seeing how he shrunk in size...*** flashback ends...


I cant help to think back right...
Anyway, i'm sure things are different this time =)
By the way, Alvin is still at CGH till the weekends~
i'll urge ppl to visit him! ward 44 bed 18..Being in hospital is really boring..
so try to visit him! Meanwhile, Pray for him too... okay...

Just chatted with Alvin earlier just now...
Seem to remind me this word faith and trust keeps appearing today..
At church, something that Pastor Ann said sparked me thinking..
Its when God is the most silent that he is doing the most work in our life..
This is faith... you need the faith to get you through times that are so silent that you shout
"hello Lord are you there?"
yet you hear nothing but silence.. you need to know He is there..
After i hung up with Alvin.. i felt really uneasy ...
Alvin's currently in hospital...
He had injured himself in field camp.. causing an injured knee
which wouldnt stop swelling... and swells on...
as a results he gets warded and the doctor says..
its not just an injury.. and beneath lies some other "joint disease"
but for now the op needs to treat the swollen injured knee before more investigation..
i know why i'm getting that feeling...at the back of my memory something nudging ..
after i hung up.. i couldnt stop thinking about it...
Suddenly i just kept thinking about what happened to Ming Xuan..
The fall which caused his injury on his knee..
thinking it was just an injury he came back to school..
yet... it swelled... and swelled... until he had to be treated for the swelling..
he went in and out of the hospital for the injury...
until the doctor said it was something more than injuries..
it was something beneath.. that needs furthur examinations..
then what happened later was just.. just.. vividly still in my mind..
everything in that subsequent six months just happened so fast..
Its just that i cant help to recall bout this.. at the moment i heard from Alvin..
i just couldnt stop remembering the "ordeal"
Indeed there was one thing i regretted not doing the last time..
i'm not going to forget to do it this time..
Keep telling myself its not going to be the same case..
right?
People please pray for Alvin...
I will trust God...

As 14 Feb draws near.. once again you're being remembered.. because.. it shld had been your birthday.. somehow i remember this scene... of Mr Tan laying the council badge on your coffin..
