Hate being confused about GOD's standard...

If all is vainity
we should just eat bread daily and any other food should be vainity isnt it.
we should just have one entertainment and the rest are vainity right.
we should just have the basic needs and the rest are vainity right.
where should we stop.
where is the line.

About Ecclesiastes, I see that Solomon tries to destroy his audience's confidence in their own efforts, their own abilities and their own righteousness. He then directed them to faith in God as the only possible basis for value and significance. Hence life should be lived in complete trust in God. Enjoy life as a gift and live life knowing of the impending judgement.
